Mabuhay!

Filipinos are known for a lot of things. One of them being very faithful and religious. There are a lot of Filipinos in Philly but there are not a lot of events or places where Filipinos can express their faith to their full Filipino extent.

At St. Augustine Church, Filipinos can experience mass as they do in the Philippines. Every Sunday at 11 A.M. St. Augustine has Filipino mass. The sermon is said in Tagalog and the choir sings Filipino songs.

After the mass, they serve Filipino food in the recreation area. It’s a great way for the people to get to know each other and grow their relationship with each other. After all, what better way to bond than over food?

Hangaan sa muli,
